The second exhibition is the British Museum's recent exhibition The Citi exhibition China's hidden century

This is an exhibition about China's 19th century, a century of change for China. It demonstrates the extraordinary resilience and creativity of China at the time. In these turbulent times, technological, cultural and political changes also bred extraordinary creativity.

Behind the exhibits are vivid personal experiences in the court, in the army, in a thriving cosmopolitan city and even on the global stage.

For designers too, all the designs I make are coloured by my personal experiences.
